King Family

When Cheryl called our studio in the beginning of June, she wanted to get her whole family together for a family portrait, but the timing was not great, as part of the family was moving to Colorado and a couple of the grandsons were not available on the only day everyone else was.  Well, we photographed the majority of the family and we were finally able to add the two missing ones in November.  So here are the images from the summer.  

La Duke Family and "Chief Roger"

When Nancy LaDuke called, she said she needed pictures of her and her dad with a mountain background.  She said they would both be in Native American costumes.  Jim checked out the area around us, the northwest, and came up with the perfect spot. Little did we know at the time that the mountains would look so ominous.  What a perfect day and location to take these beautiful shots.  While the whole family was in town we took advantage, and took some wonderful family shots as well.

I spent the day with these 3 great models at Nelson, NV.  Thank you, Austin, TJ, and Dylan.  You were so helpful, and I had a great time with all of you.  Being that I am not usually behind the camera, it was a great learning experience.

Macy's Gala on Saturday

Manos Burris Family Portraits

It has been so nice reconnecting with Jacquay (Hopper) Manos.  We were classmates at Western High School many years ago, and since we moved back, we have done several sessions for her, including this family portrait session.  The "star" of this Portrait session was Annabella Grace, but her mom and dad had supporting roles.  She sure has her Nana wrapped around her little finger!

Madeleine at 6 weeks

We are so enjoying watching Madeleine grow, and being able to photograph her is a pleasure.  We hope that by the time her daddy gets back she will have her own portfolio!  What a cutie!  We hope you will continue to follow her on the blog!

On July 24th we had the privilege of photographing 2 day old Madeleine.  Her dad was leaving the next day to serve our country in Afghanistan, so we wanted to make sure her first portraits were including Daddy.
